The bus driver from Essex made me feel nauseous.

He is misguided and plain rude to people.

I think he winds them up then films them.

The London cabbies the spoke to seemed to miss the seat belt law whilst driving.

It was made to get people watching but in no way improve the mutual respect thag is needed between all road users. It barely educated the people watching as to the correct laws and the myths.

Channel 5 aren't exactly known for their hard hitting documentaries are they? I didn't watch it. Everything I've read prior to airing was that it was extremely one sided and deliberately provocative and antagonistic.

Been cyclist and motorcycle rider for many years also drive a car. There is def a hatred for any two wheeled vehicle by lots of drivers. Lots more cyclists have been seriously hurt or killed by drivers than the other way round. Agree there are some crazy bike riders out there but I’ve always followed the rules of the road and have had many near misses by drivers who don’t care.

There are a lot of bad ones in certain cites. Jump red lights, wrong way down one way streets, hopping on and off pavements. Basically ignore the rules of the road. Unfortunately they give the many many good cyclists a bad rep.

Plenty of bad drivers who ignore rules of the road too like mobile phones and pulling out and cutting up cyclists

Agree entirely. It might be income based, one of the cases that resulted in successful prosecution that he showed on his computer, read, ‘£350 victim surcharge’. Who was the victim? Him?

On another clip that showed him apparently babbing his pants whilst a bus converged with him, he’s also got the option to use his breaks and not let it get to that stage. Not saying that exonerates the bus driver, but seems like this guy is on a collision course that’ll end very badly for him.

really I don't watch TV but that's a serious report on the news the government or at least local government are trying to encourage cycling by placing the rentable bikes everywhere, it's eco friendly, it keeps you fit, it's refreshing, everyone is always in such a rush to get everywhere get a bike chill and get fit you lazy lot

Only caught the end of it and have to say that the two cyclists on the pavement riding past the police seem typical of what I've seen in reality.

Last summer, I witnessed a cyclist almost knock a policeman over on the pavement. The policeman apologised to the cyclist.

I expressed my disbelief to the policeman and pointed out when I was a kid it would have been a good telling off and a visit to my parents from the police if I had been seen on the pavement by the police.

The policeman pointed out that cyclists are "green energy" and the police have a policy of turning a blind eye to cyclists.

I also drive slowly behind the lovely lady cyclists when they have their cyclone shorts on.
