What Food (Smell etc) Takes You Back?

Just a simple thread.

On Friday evening, had some Bovril, and the smell (before even tasting it) took me back to a night during Basic Training, I remembered what I was wearing, the smell, how it felt, everything of when I last tasted it.

So what food (or smell) takes you back to a memory?

A certain fabric conditioner reminds me of a lady I saw for some time, her sheets always smelt of it.

Perfume is the same, takes me back to a few meets.

Under the Duvet

When I open a new packet of teabags it takes me back to my nan's kitchen.

They all drank coffee in our house so as a kid I'd go over the road to the relative sanity of my nan's house for a cup of tea and a bit of peace and quiet.
