OP not sure why you think you should get an explanation - there are any number of possible reasons she may have met these guys and not you and frankly it's none of your business what they are.

And to pull the rug from under your "it's alright for women they get plenty of chances" argument - if someone came to me asking why I'd met others when I'd said I wasn't meeting - I'd in all likelihood tell them to take a hike.

So what if she contacted you first and asked for your number? Maybe through chatting to you she realised you were not for her, and when you suggested meeting the "not meeting right now" line was an easy way out to avoid potential abuse - and I know you're going to say "but I wouldn't have given abuse" but she doesn't *know* that.

Either way it didn't work out - best thing you can do is forget about it and move on, it's what I do when it happens to me - yes you do wonder what the reasons are, but you'll never know so pointless stewing on it.

There are genuine folks here, but they are few and far between now. I expect my reply will draw criticism from some people. And those people are likely to be the genuine ones.

We dont all have positive experiences here unfortunately. In my honest opinion, I think that some people here have a very unhealthy attitude toward sex, likely due to porn and insecurity. I include myself in that last comment by the way.

Two perspectives.

One, as a woman on here, my every move is questioned. I'm online. I'm meeting. Them, yes? Why am I ignoring them? When is it their "turn"? Etc. It's exhausting. My time online, my priorities, my rankings of people, who I'm meeting and when, are my business and my business alone. I tend not to share much about my priorities and thinking. I'm a free agent. I don't owe anyone anything. I don't jerk people around, but I don't owe anyone transparency.

But on the flip side. There's people I'd love to meet (again). They say, oh, you too, and it doesn't happen. They get new veris, sometimes lots of them. Yes, sometimes I wonder what that's about. Sometimes it makes me sad. But I gently remind them that I'm about from time to time, and keep up friendly conversations at a pace that seems to make sense (from once every couple of months to very frequently). They don't owe me an explanation, let alone their time. I feel sad by myself. And I don't say this is a thing men do (not all men disclaimer), or think that this is unjust. And yes, I'm a woman and I get meets, but sometimes I want to see *them*. I make sure it's clear without being pushy, back the fuck off, and deal with my emotional shit by myself.

Well I have up I'm not doing any new meets. And that's because at the moment I'm not. I am meeting guys off here already and am not interested in meeting anyone new. I constantly get asked why am I on here if I'm not meeting and to be honest I'm fed up of having to explain it.
