I have no age issues at all, depends on the person, how confident they are, how happy they are in themselves and how they approach me !

I have met some very sexy and great people half my age (or less) and also some older than me.

How come women are generally the younger one in a relationship? So many couple's on here where the man's is 10+ years older but you rarely see couple's where the woman is the one who's 10+ years older smh.

There's not a specific cut-off, except where they're clearly highly immature, clueless, didn't learn to read and write - perhaps didn't reach that level in education yet and I feel that they have mastered telling the time skills, so they won't be late, then I'll evaluate them on their unique credentials of being worthwhile to fuck. I spend most of my time with people 18 to early 20's, so I relate well with them.

I have younger guys more than 20 years my junior contacting me, but there is not a chance in hell I could go there!

I think approx 10 years younger is my max limit, though I don't think I could go 10 above my age, unless he was pretty spectacular!

I know some might think that is double standards of some sort, but seeing as most men lie about their age, it usually means they are really 49/50

Just had this discussion in a none fab way with a friend who has just started dated again

Loads were saying 10yrs younger should be a limit I used to agree but then I met my partner who's 12yrs younger than me and been together 4yrs now it was purely a FWB relationship to start with but then feels came along lol, now live together kid ect ect so I would say don't stick a limit as a strict rule as you could close yourself off to something amazing

The chance of that happening is near non existent.

I'm foreign so living abroad greatly reduces the chances of that ever happening.

Reading this thread is just showing me how different people on fab are, and how many people have very different ideas.

I don't agree with a lot of the sentiments on this thread; but I DO respect the fact that people are entitled to those opinions.

I just wish some people would remember that because it is what they think it is not right for everyone.

I was 28 he was 18 so 10 years age gap, I have my age set at 30-50 and I do change it at times. Now it is 20 years age gap to 30 and nothing my side

I’ve only ever been with someone a year beneath me. I’m generally always the youngest in the relationship.

I guess I’d not say no to an 18yo though? I just prefer and place more effort into those that are older than myself

I thought the swinging lifestyle incorporated all legal ages, people types, and experience. Legal age should not come into or old age for that matter. If people want to be in this lifestyle you have to start somewhere. I get maturity and all that but surely all should have a fair crack. Obviously personal preference is key but on the whole it should not matter.

So if you looked at a face pic and it took your fancy, "yeah I'd like to go with him/her" then you found out their age say 20 for arguments sake you would not venture? Or the same again, older that you liked, but body type was not quite right you would turn away even if the personality was attractive. You may have misunderstood what I was saying it's like equality, or any other ism these days it should not matter. Like both you and I said preference is the key.

For some age does come into it. Some don't want to be with someone the same age as their parents or maybe younger siblings

Myself and B were just discussing this very subject.

I worked in a primary school a fair few years back, my first "leavers" will be 23/24 now.

I cannot comprehend having sex with someone who is that age. For me personally I was in a position where I was to protect those from harm, to nurture them, to parent and teach away from home. It would feel like I was taking advantage of a young person. I'm not saying other people ARE taking advantage or abusing, far from it, but for me that's how I would feel, given the job that I did. I have a son not much younger than that and I'm not going to give his friends an opportunity to get in my knickers just because they're legally ok to.
