I had a message this morning from someone asking for a meet this afternoon. I said I couldn't meet them as I've got visitors for the day. The person said they've only got time to play this afternoon so it's best I get shut of my visitors and spend the time with them instead.!! I was amazed at the bloody cheek of it and told the person so. The reply to me was I couldn't be all that interested in meeting anyone if I couldn't organise things better and I was a timewaster! Really??? Needless to say the person has been blocked.

How very dare you have a life... What a cheek.

Aren't men meant to be at our Beck n call at all hours regardless.

In all seriousness... You did good to block whoever is demanding that off you. What if you had actually canceled on your family/visitor. Turned up to the meet and they never showed up !!!

I would have replied "If you organised your life better you would have asked sooner dumbarse. I'm organised, I have something to do, you are the saddo(s) on your own & bored!"

I know, terrible isn't it having a life eh.

Not for one second would I think of kicking my visitors out. They're from overseas and first time I've seen them for 3 years. As you say, what if I'd got rid of them and the person didn't turn up? I'd feel very angry indeed.

No, I told the person exactly what I thought of them and gave them the permanent goodbye - blocked.

I personally would had done what they suggested it if they were worth it.

Let’s face it if an opportunity arises for some hot action you should grab it
