Different shapes don't taste different. Different sauces coat pasta shapes in differently so it's common to pair them up in particular ways.

You can make an egg pasta which is the most common or just use flour and water for an eggless pasta. I make my own pasta from fresh as its really easy and kinda fun too.

Let's say flour or weath.

I think your question regards classic pasta, which is flour.

To answer your question, no flavour doesn't change. Is a matter of shape only.

Nope. Gnocchi is mashed spuds and flour adn doesn't have to be stuffed. Too heavy

Read the packet on bought stuff. You are mostly eating mashed potato which someone waved some minced beef at.

Same with the cheese or mushroom ones...... make your own.

Pasta is peasant food.

What makes it good is what you serve it with.

A high ratio of veg/meat sauce to pasta then it's delicious.

Cheap shite in shops is tons of pasta with very little sauce. Just a red coating high in sugar......vile.

The different shapes are because they soak up in different ways.

I love the giant shells for a very saucy dish or I love the tiny shells or orzo for soups and fuissilli for a side dish.

I love bows which I think are farfalle for savoury bakes in the oven.
