Walking down the only road I've ever known!

I need to just say that on this day 1 year ago, I sadly lost mum.

As some are aware it's been a long painful road and today there is going mixed emotions.

I've a packed day ahead with distractions. Hopefully my boy will win a medal today.

I just want to say thank you and you all know who you are for the support and love you've shown me, when I needed it.

Oh that's tough PP.

Good luck to your son, even if he doesn't win a medal he will make you proud.

Take care

No matter how many years pass, anniversaries can be tough. I try to remember the special memories and fun times as much as possible on days like today.

Days like today will be hard. Even though the pain is still raw, time is the best healer and one day you won’t have to look for distractions to stop thinking about her but will be able to celebrate her life instead.

Sending lots of love to you. You can do this!

You have to make the day count, and you have to have your Mum's share of the fun.

This is how I cope, I lost my Mum two years ago, and it is still raw.

Have a great day, making memories x

Time doesn't heal I've found. Yes, the raw pain and grief subsides, but the loss is still felt.

My son died on 18 July...I'm dreading the day.

Losing your mum hurts like nothing else.

Keep busy, cherish the good memories. It's what I tell myself after many years of not having mine.

Hugs x
