Random question but at least the woman can't chirp their 2 pence in on this one. Lads when you go for a pee before bed... You then shag your missus or whatever and cum.... Then my prostate is in absolute agony and feels like I need to piss for about half hour after but can't pee and it just kills. Any ideas ? Before you smart asses say std it ain't that

It doesn’t sound like STD.

1- ask your doc because you can’t act on advice from Fab forum alone.

2- I’m assuming it’s happened recently and only the odd once or twice? If so then it can correct itself and go away by itself in a few days.

3- I would say have more water than normal for a few days to clear out your system.

4- perhaps give it a while after peeing before you have sex. Sometimes not all the urine is drained and then ejaculating could cause the burning.

Sorry for being so detailed folks but really wanted to help this guy out.

Prostate do get swollen/tense a little during the whole action of stimulation and ejaculation.

During this period it may constrict on your urethra thus having difficulty in initiating peeing. It is similar to older people who are suffering from enlarged prostate.

Just wait for a while and you should be able to pee.

However it is not supposed to be painful. If it is painful (sharp or burning pain), other problems (stones or infection) should be considered.

Just my opinion.

Its happened to me OP.

I had exactly the same pain and symptoms you're experiencing.

Being a bloke I just thought it would go away on its own. Typical man I guess you'd say.

It was painful, agony at times for about two weeks. Sometimes a sharp stabbing pain, sometimes it was just a dull ache.

I knew it's wasn't an STD, couldn't have been.

One day I woke up and thankfully the pain had gone. You've no idea the relief.

Got out of bed at my normal time and went for what I thought was going to be my first pain free pee for nearly three weeks.

Only to find overnight, my penis had fallen off.

Get to the doctor quick, don't let the same thing happen to you.

Potentially seminal vesiculitis and/or prostatitis.

Make an appointment at your local GU clinic (completely confidential) as the clinicians there will have more experience in investigation and management of these conditions than your general practitioner and can cross-refer to urology / medical imaging if causes such as calculi ('stones') are suspected.

It doesn't happen all the time only if I pee after I've had sex or ejaculated, been happening years, have no trouble peeing or burning feeling, just feels like I need to pee for about 20 mins if I do pee straight after and absolutely kills

then go back again and tell them you not happy ask to see another dr and if still nothing then ask to see another dr until someone sorts you out there are many many things that can go wrong with prostate most common is infection (not std)a bit like a wee infection but at the other end of the scale is cancer so keep pestering you gp or another dr at your surgery

If it was a one off, it could be anything. Very likely nothing to worry about too much (unless the pain was that bad).

If it happens often then go see your gp. It could be anything.

The key word is pain, if anything your own body does is causing you pain (not the pleasurable kind) then that is not normal and there is an issue.

I don't think it's anything to worry about, but thats just my opinion and I'm no expert.. So go and see a doctor and put ur mind to rest. Better sooner than later.

You say you went to the GU clinic and got tested and it's not a STI. But did you explain about this actual symptom ?.

In all honesty, it sounds like bladder stones if you can’t urinate. If it’s merely causing discomfort - it’s likely to be a urinary tract infection.
