I'm going to Bulgaria and there is a nudist beach there but how can I convince the Mrs to try it she's not like us lot but she wud prefer to be naked but paranoid about her weight she's a 16

If she doesn't want to do it ask if she'd be OK with you going alone for a bit. No point persuading her if she's not going to be happy.

Just tell her you want to try it and let her take it at her own pace.

She may not do anything, she may go topless for a bit, but she may just brave it after a while.

At least you’ll be able to enjoy it if she’s up for going along. Sue doesn’t always strip off, but she accepts I prefer to.

I’ve had this experience. I spent the first morning with her round the hotel pool. Said I’d like to go at lunch, she already knew my preference for nude sunbathing, so we went separately in the afternoon. I talked about what it was like and some of the people there. The following day she decided to try it and was very self conscious, but met a couple of couples in the evening in the bar, who were there, and got chatting about it. They all talked about their initial embarrassment and how they had progressed feeling better about themselves. By the end of the week she was saying how liberating it was and how accepting of everyone’s different shapes and sizes people were. She liked not having as obvious tan lines and then realised the burnt bits she got on day one wouldn’t have occurred if she had gone naked from the beginning
