Do most women here get too many messages!

I for one love reading my messages but then again I'm not inundated with them. I've sent a few first time messages to a few different women, and it's been a few days and the message is still unread and they're active on the site? To the women of Fab, are you not bothered by new messages, or do you just have so many that you slowly work through them?

I tend to look at the start of the message and the person's profile before deciding if it's enticing enough to open right away.

I also go through phases where I don't even look at my inbox, I just log on to browse the forums.

I'm not inundated because I use filters but I'm also in no rush to read messages straight away.

Well weirdly enough I just got a message from a woman who gets only 30 a day on average and yet looks amazing so not sure why that is but in general it can be much much more

368 in the past few hours....Sometimes I can look through messages to get through them and they carry on building up as they see your online....I read and deleted them this afternoon and logged out only to come back on to hundreds waiting to be read again

I don't think it's just me....I'm sure other females get bombarded the same....It's hard as I like to speak to friends on here and chat in the forums....Then you get abusive messages if you don't reply....If I replied to all it would spoil my fun in here chatting to friends and stuff so it can get overwhelming

It's not just fab where ladies get lots of messages. From what I've heard it's the same with all apps.

Awhile ago I downloaded a new app and I sent lots of messages but I didn't get any replies, none of them even got seen.

This went on for a week then I decided to do an experiment and I signed in with female gender and no pics or profile text.

Then almost immediately I started getting bombed with messages. What a difference!

Save them when you've read them then delete the rest...

I usually find if someone wants to keep in touch they always messages again anyway... its far easier for a man to keep track of his messages lol

When I’m looking to meet I get about 5 a day (excluding fab friends).

My filters do all the work for me. I couldn’t come with the volume I got when I first joined.

This means I can answer all my messages and have time to chat with people and read the forums.

Not sure you can tell it's been deleted without being read. Unread are yellow but never tested the theory of unread messages bring deleted

I did not say there was any harm. There are generally in the region of 10+ a day. Mostly from those people, occasionally from those who have read the first five lines, very occasionally from those with good reading comprehension.
