This is very off putting as you think you may still have a chance and you see the person has been on and off. Why not just delete.

Plymouth and Newcastle (sometimes)

How do you know they've used the mark unread button? We have several messages in our inbox that we can read in their entirety without opening

"How do you know they've used the mark unread button? We have several messages in our inbox that we can read in their entirety without opening "

They'll be the 'Hello, how are you?' ones then

Or so often just "Hi".

Sometimes I mark as unread of it don't have time to reply right then, if i leave it read I'm sure to forget.

Also, on our couples profile, we often mark unread so the other has a chance to read and we can decide on a response together.

Don't look if it bothers you

Or alternatively the ones you can see enough that you know you don't want to read it.

MrD

If you are messaging couples, I sometimes mark it as unread for Daisy to read + reply to so they don't think she just read it + isn't replying
