My personal experience on this site is that southerners are a bit more uptight and less friendly. Northerners seem a lot friendlier. What's your opinion?

Its just my personal experience. Obviously not every southerner is rude. But generally speaking people up north are happier to chat. I've been wrong before lol

Southeners here and we found when we were in the Midlands a lot of people were unapproachable in the club we went to.

We went to a swing night and a fetish night and the fetish crowd were the friendly bunch the swingers barely spoke!

Having met a southerner in the North (being a northerner myself) I can say that it does not apply to this person. Just as, if not friendlier than most northerners.

Clearly that's the northernness rubbing off on her though.

I’ve never actually been called either, mostly due to not having a hint of a welsh accent.
