I just tell it as I see it, so that’s pretty honest although I wouldn’t personally offend anybody in terms of looks so a bit of poetic honesty might creep in now and again.

Let me phrase it better; for me, I'll be honest about myself as I cannot I am one person, when reality says otherwise.

If towards someone else, I let them do the talking and it it gets to a meeting, I will decide then. No two meets are the same!

Good question as it actually made me think.

Certainly not 100% oh no I'm not naive to give full access to my life on the world wide web.

I suppose I lie when it comes to little white lies early on to protect my personal details.

I do not and would never lie on the things that I believe matter though it does seem to sound highly subjective come to think of it lol

So I would propose that my honesty is a scale that always tips towards 100% the closer you get to knowing me and the more time we spend getting to know each other.

Thus my starting point would be around 60-75% if not 80%.

Honesty is important and I'm honest. Everything in context, including honesty - even if it's to say I prefer not to share. No one has the absolute right to retrieve whatever information that they fancy from you. And I tell white fibs, or say nothing, of it's about reasons for rejecting someone, when I don't know them and see no good reason to hurt them maliciously.

I might dance with words a little bit but never say blue is red to the point the other person sees red instead of blue when blue is blue and red is red.

Anyone asking me a serious question often gets the cold factual truth from me, and that can sometimes hurt but it's never done maliciously.

Im honest in my forum dealings, what I say is what I feel. There can be truths to be found in the things you choose not to answer though and I don't feel it necessary to blurt out all my business openly. If we plan to meet or I trust you enough to chat over messages I will be as honest as you want to hear, and you can run or not as you see fit

Aren't honesty and truth rather subjective defined by our own view of what's honest or not. Mix that with brutal honesty and it does rather seem to be a recipe for potentially getting away with all sorts of unpleasantness from time to time depending on how we view the world that day, hour, minute,or even second.

Ask me something I will answer as honestly as I am able, or not, if I dont want to share whatever I'm being asked.

Apart from the jokey stuff on the forums though I often see others perceptions of what constitutes honesty being used as a stick with which to beat others.

Perhaps that honesty may sometimes need to be tempered with a little empathy, and spoken more gently....

Who knows it might just change how some see others, whether on fab or elsewhere.

It depends. I'm as honest as I can be, I'm a really bad liar because to be a good liar you have to have a good memory, and I haven't. But, I like to keep my fab life and my private life seperate x

We're completely honest - real names, ages, photos, interests etc. Same with messages.

We don't see the point in being less than honest.
