Check out Team RH - I'm steadily losing 2lbs a week and it's staying off. No fad dieting either, just learning more about food, nutrients, macros and learning to better balance your diet. Means there's no temptation to binge or feel guilty about eating 'bad' foods, because you learn to balance things in moderation.

Plus you won't find a more supportive group anywhere.

If you are diabetic you need to talk to your doctor as it’s a very fast weight loss.

However cut the carbs, increase your vegetables and don’t have any diet products

Work out your TDEE in a calorie calculator, put your self in a 10-15% calorie decifit and be active. I have tried SW, Keto, WW and all these fads. They are just a way of dressing up a calorie controlled diet. It can work for some people for sure but you don't need to pay someone to tell you to eat veg. The support groups can be good though if you struggle. I suggest following a guy on social media called thefitnesschef.

People might think having 2 innocent smoothies a day is good for you but if you look at the calories in 2 of those you wouldn't touch them. If it helps I look at my calorie allowance as tokens...how am I going to spend my tokens? Am I going to blow them or spend them sensibly? TRACK ALLLL FOOD. Use an app called mtfitnesspal!!!

Beyond the shadows.

"Anyone have tips and advice for loosing body fat especially from the stomach area?"

Unfortunately it's not possible to isolate body regions for weight reduction. Depending on your genetics the stomach area is the first place you body might store fat and the last place you might loose fat from. As someone somewhere said its like a pool, water goes to the deep part first. But to get water out of the deep part, you have to take water out of the shallow areas.

Many experts say crash diets aren't good for you as they are not sustainable over the long run and often these diets are nutritionally unbalanced which lead to health issue's.

Side effects of crash diets can be ;

Weakened immune system

Dehydration

Dizziness

Irregular bowel movements

Fatigue

Irritability

Headaches

Hair thinning

Its far more beneficial for you to make life stile changes. eating a nutritious, well-balanced diet that’s packed with foods from each of the five main food groups;

Carbohydrates (Complex)

Protein

Milk and dairy products

Fruit and vegetables

Health Fats and sugars

Key is moderation, eat appropriately sized portions and obviously be more physically active then you currently are. Don't worry about 10000 steps, walk 3 times a day for 10 minutes vigorously enough to raise your heart rate, increase your strength and resistance based exercises. As studies have shown increasing your muscle mass helps you burn more calories.

I went from size 18 to size 10 within a year. Cut out added sugar and quit bread. Completely. No ifs, no low fat bullshit. Eat as much natural fat as you want, only reduce the amount of potatoes and swap them for seasonal veg when you can.

I fry my eggs in butter, absolutely drown my veg in butter and eat cheese and grapes with no crackers, drink beer and wine when I want to and my weight has been steady for over 2 years.

Yes, I do have my cheat days where I eat all the carbs I want, but they only make me bloat, be tired and lethargic, so I do think twice before I put any of the things that make me miserable anywhere near my mouth.

Best of luck with your journey OP

I am very very limited to the type of exercises that are suggested by health care professionals, so this year I cut out certain foods and drinks, and totally cut out feasting at Fast Food outlets.

From end January to early June, I lost 4.5kg. My GP's Nurse is really pleased.

I'm aiming to lose another 5kg by next January.

I have been doing the 10,000 steps thing to see if it works and it does. You don't even have to walk really fast, it just has to be fast enough, and like jogging you cant stop.

An hour and a half to two and a half hours has cut about a stone and a half off me in about a two months. I have gone from just under 20% fat to about 16% fat.

Are there quicker ways to cut fat? yes, but walking is free and if you have the time you can just go on it.

2 hours will burn about 1000 cals nearly all from fat unless you stroll.

As for food, if you're adding weight then youre taking in too much energy. Think of yourself as a car. Youre going to the petrol station and putting 100 sterling worth of petrol in a canister, then pouring it into your tank. Your car is full by the time the canister is half empty so you put the rest in the boot.

The next day you arrive at the garage and the tank is on half full. Instead of reaching into the boot and using that petrol, you fill up another canister with 100 sterling worth of petrol and start pouring it in. This time you only use a quarter of the amount and put the rest in the boot.

You do this over and over and you are strapping the canisters to the outside of your car now.

So one day you decide you will do something about it, you cant just start using the canisters in the boot, because they dont burn as clean anymore from sitting around. You're best off putting 10 sterling in your car from the pump, and 5 sterling worth from the canister in the boot and mixing them in like this.

It will take you a long time to get through all the canisters but you will.

If you're using 2000 cals a day and adding weight, then you can figure out how many calories youre taking in. Its probably more than 2000, so start bringing it down lower, but you want balance and no fad diet (unless for health conditions).

If getting it down to 1500 seems too hard then dont panic, just get it as close to 2000 as you can and create a deficit by going for a 2 hour walk, this will mean you now use 3000 cals a day so you have forced the deficit on yourself.

You need to work with your nutrition. Go into calorie deficit and intermittent fasting.

Some great advice above and as already explained you cant spot reduce fat.

That subject probably has a greater level of misunderstanding than practically any other health or fitness topic. The first misconception is that you can get rid of abdominal fat by working your abdominal muscles.

This is based on some belief that fat is eliminated from a part of your body if you engage the muscles underneath that fat.

It’s the same idea that you will lose fat on your legs if you pump your legs all day. The truth of the matter is that your body decides where to put fat and where to remove it, and it’s a system that is largely determined by your genetics.

Your body wants to distribute fat based on a few clever strategies pioneered by your ancestors. First of all, your body stores fat in your midsection (your abdomen, hips or buttocks) due to basic biomechanics. The midsection of your body is the best place to store extra energy because it takes less energy to carry it around.

Remember, fat storage is a survival strategy, so your body wants to maximize energy efficiency in the creation, storage and use of body fat.

It wouldn’t make sense to have a lot of extra fat on your fingers and toes because you’d have to swing those around when you moved and that would require extra caloric expenditure. So given that your body wants to store fat as a way to have portable energy, it makes perfect sense that it would prefer to store that fat in your midsection.

Secondly from an anthropological point of view, the placement of body fat can be used cosmetically to pursue this strategy. (Of course, it all happens automatically. You don’t have to “think” about where to put your body fat on any particular day, any more than you have to “think” about why you might sometimes feel attracted to another person), and also has some implications for mate selection. This is especially true in women, where fat is stored in locations like the hips, buttocks and breasts to actually create a more attractive physical body in order to attract a potential mate.

In this way, the fat is stored in predetermined locations on your body for much the same reason that a male peacock has brightly colored feathers — it’s part of the mating game, so to speak. Exaggeration of physical traits is a common evolutionary strategy for mate attraction in primates, including humans.

And thirdly, your body stores fat wherever you have fat cells.

This may sound obvious, but it’s actually interesting when you realize that people who undergo liposuction to remove fat cells from their body end up causing a redistribution of fat to other locations that might be less desirable. For example, if a person follows an unhealthy lifestyle that results in the accumulation of excessive body fat, then they undergo liposuction to remove that body fat from their abdomen, but they continue to pursue the same overconsumption lifestyle that creates more body fat, then the body has to store that fat somewhere and since the fat cells have been removed from the abdomen, it’s going to put that fat somewhere else like the knees, or under the chin, or under the arms and so on.

Your body has to work with the fat cells that exist, and if you start removing certain fat cells, you end up with fat being stored in places you might not have expected. Thats probably one of the most common pitfalls of liposuction. It all sounds great until you look in the mirror one day and find that you have twenty pounds of body fat sagging off your knees

Contact women who adverts themselves as sucking devices.

They suck like Dyson so basically, ask them to suck the fat out of you through your belly button. Make sure they don't swallow though as it will go in their hips
