"A couple of months after I started at my current job I found a large red and black beetle, turned out to be a soldier beetle. I also found some ladybird nymphs but they turned out to be harlequin do I killed them. " Yes the Harlequins have invaded the habitat of our native ladybirds , pesky little fuckers

Was it a striped little fella ?? " This one was particularly unusual and visually striking in that he sported a metallic gold exoskeleton. He was quite gorgeous (well as gorgeous as a spider can possibly be)

"When I was little I used to have a little vivarium that I used to fill with little plants and mud and twigs, stones and shit...then I'd collect about 10 of a certain bug (normally woodlice, or chukypigs as I called them), and watch them for hours, then set them all free I love nature and animals! " I know you do , you're a good egg you

"Yes! If I'm out for a walk with someone I seem to get told a lot off for not listening to them because I get constantly distracted by the wildlife. "ooh! Look at that beetle!" is not an appropriate response to someone telling me their relationship troubles... " More interesting though lol . I do it when my boss taps on about his granddaughters exam results . I'm like , yeah lovely mate ooh a Starling
