I don't do drugs but make legal, tax the hell out of it and you will create jobs and money which will help this recession. Also the police can work on real crimes.

Same with a lot of things you could bring in, maybe brothels, keeps them off the streets, safe and more people paying tax.

Hate me for suggesting these things but they will always happen no matter how much you police so why not make it safer and tax it.

I don't agree with taxing on fatty foods, some of us actually exercise regularly and eat healthy, so why should we when we want to pig out have to pay more and those who can eat as much as they want and not gain anything.

I agree with legalising governed emporiums of pleasure and tax it.

I think fuel costs should be reduced to under a quid a litre to help businesses such as HGV, public transport and help families and workers who have to use their own vehicles for work and travel.

Reducing the overall amount of duty may help everyone but everyone will suffer in the long run due to lesser amount of duty flowing into the treasury. To make a reduction in fuel more effective I think it would be better to allow individual users offset it against their tax. One can't work without getting to one's place of work so it is an essential expenditure and should be tax deductable.

I agree with writing fuel off for tax reasons etc.

I used to travel all over the country working and could easily do over a thousand miles a week.

When fuel prices started to inflate I had no choice but put the price of my labour up, hence a knock on effect for most people/drivers in the same situation, not good for business all round.
