I am wondering what views people have on face pics on profile. In many peoples profiles they explicitly want to see face pics on profiles or in the first message. Most of these fab users also do not have a face pic on of them as well - how can you expect others to when you have not yourself? I understand why as I would not meet anyone without seeing the face and I think the face is the most important feature and to really know if you are attracted to someone you need to see their face. The problem is that on here there are many not genuine people and some of us, including myself have a profession which means that it would not be good to be linked with a site such as Fab. For me this is a problem as I think my face is my best feature. I wonder what peoples thoughts are on this and for the best way around this as I think some people do not reply simply because I have no public face pics.

I usually have face pics on my profile but sometimes I don’t. Yep, I still would like a face pic in the first message. No point in wasting anyone’s time by chatting to someone and realising that I’m not attracted to them when they eventually send a face pic.

If you don’t want to send one to someone who doesn’t have any up, don’t. No one is forcing you too

I never ask for face pics and I hate sending them. I do send them tho if I've been chatting for a while and we are heading towards meeting. To me personally I prefer to get on with someone I will usually find them attractive if we have a laugh. Anyone who asks for a face pic straight away won't get one. I believe people should be allowed their privacy. And fakes normally slip up and you can tell they are on here if you chat.

Don't have them on profile, send after a couple of promising messages, not with first.

Have had two occasions where two sep guys refused to send after they messaged us first, politely told them that didn't suit us and we would never contemplate meeting without having exchanged pics.

Personally do not expect people to have facial pics in profile.

I try to achieve a balance of what pictures I have. To negate any "heres my face, oooh, you've gone" it is plain to see on my profile. I guess I don't worry too much about being exposed for being a "swinger", we all have a hobby

I have them in friends pics and sometimes a bit of my face on my profile. There needs to be attraction so if someone I'm chatting with isn't keen to send one I'd be off

I won't message anyone without a face pic anymore, it certainly limits my options but it's no fun for either party when you eventually get a face pic and the conversation stops dead.

Anyone sensible will not expect you to post a public pic of your face. But you can send one privately.

It's up to you whether you want to do that in a first message. Depends if it's been asked for and how desperate you are to accede to any such 'requirement'.
