Why not? We spend too much time worrying about the manager and the captain. Until England is producing better players it doesn't really make much difference.

Not being sexist here, but in relation to the offside rule,thought this was a good way of explaining it for ladies...and yes it is a copy and paste......

You're in a shoe shop, second in the queue for the till. Behind the shop assistant on the till is a pair of shoes which you have seen and which you must have.

The female shopper in front of you has seen them also and is eyeing them with desire. Both of you have forgotten your purses.

It would be rude to push in front of the first woman if you had no money to pay for the shoes.

The shop assistant remains at the till waiting.

Your friend is trying on another pair of shoes at the back of the shop and sees your dilemma.

She prepares to throw her purse to you.

If she does so, you can catch the purse, then walk round the other shopper and buy the shoes!

At a pinch she could throw the purse ahead of the other shopper and "whilst it is in flight" you could nip around the other shopper, catch the purse and buy the shoes!

BUT, you must always remember that until the purse has "actually been thrown", it would be plain wrong for you to be in front of the other shopper and you would be OFFSIDE!

If I was managing them, god help em! There wouldnt be many premiership players in the starting line up especially if they behaved like they do now.

None of these silly headphones on the team bus.

All have to wear smart suits and shoes.

All have a hanky up their sleeves in case they need to spit on the pitch.

None of this bitching or arguing on or off the pitch.

And would do what Phil Brown did and sit them in the box and tell them all off

Oh and did I mention I have to watch them in the showers too

The way footballers think there would be little respect for a woman in charge. They give little enough to a man who has played the game in the top flight so a woman would only be a novelty for a short time and the results on the pitch might even be worse.
