Why are we on fab?

Setting up meets through messages on the site is absolutely the hardest way to meet people for swinging. Many of us could close down our profiles tomorrow and continue meeting others through clubs, social events, fab friend networks etc. We communicate with like minded others through Kik and WhatsApp groups, FB interest pages, Twitter etc. But we still stay on the site. Why? What keeps you using a site that makes it harder to meet like minded people than other social media channels? Is it the forums, the pics, the chat rooms (really??) or the challenge that one day you will *actually* set up a sex meet through messaging with a real live swinger who will actually turn up, you’ll get on and really get to bump gonads?

I don't use any other methods but I find messaging here works fine.

I also enjoy the forums for the social aspect.

To be honest I get more meets on swiper sites (where I have an equally honest profile), the only difference here is that I can wave my wang and meet couples (which I like to do)....

But if I relied of fab for sex.... well, no that wouldn't happen very much

I'm here for the forums but have organised most of my meets through fab. Usually though chatting in the forums to be honest. I met my fwb on face pic Friday. I have met people at group socials through fab and then gone on to play with them at a later date

Twitter hasn't proven more fruitful for me than here, I didn't realise Fb was a pu site. I love the fora, I like the snapshot into society and differing opinions you can read on here.

All my meets have been through messages in Fab. None through clubs, forums, or at a pub.

We've only met folks through Fab (apart from when P's dragged some willing victims back from town when she's been out) and only had one no show in nearly seven years so it works fine for us.

I’m not very close to the FB sites, my FB is reserved for mum chat and baking disasters, but there are apparently pages and groups that are popular with swingers and promiscuous fuckers.

Keep in touch with friends from clubs who we dont know well enough to exchange numbers...the forums and see what's what at clubs and such....

The right place

Messaging can work. I’m here to get to know women I find attractive and interesting and sometimes that leads to getting naked with a few of them. On the whole, it works for me.

I overstated the case to provoke some debate. I like the forums, the alerts to new events and the occasional message from someone really enticing. I’m not feeling ready to retire my profile permanently just yet.

To follow up. I am here for sex, I enjoy meeting new people and I find the swinging scene is full of people that talk openly and without inhibitions or fear of judgement (although collectively the forums can be a but "judgey", people that I meet in my area tend to be relaxed, welcoming and genuinely great people).

I confess I am not the most successful on here or off here for that matter, but i am a very sexually driven person, it is a part of my nature so I use the avenues I have available to explore that. Clubs as a single guy are not so great in my experience and parties don't tend to happen unless I organise them
