A Secret Hideaway In the caravan of love

Great for faces, ears, hair, necks, shoes and much much more.

I can remember my mum spiting on her hanky,to clean my face.

Did your mum do the same to you.

little house on the praire

Worst thing for us was, we used to get laid out on the surface and draining board for our night time wash. Mother always scrubbed our knees with a bloody scrubbing brush nearly taking the bloody skin off. I still remember it now

No I don't remember my mum or dad ever doing this and I never did it to mine either.

I was apparently bathed in the kitchen sink as a toddler though, so she tells me. I'm assuming she took out the dishes first

The way my son eats twiglets I'd need to drown him in phlem to clean him. Thank fuck for wet wipes!

I can remember standing in the sink at my grandmas for a wash, probably up till I was 4 or 5....one of those old Belfast sinks I think they call them, prob worth a fortune nowadays...grandmas house had no bathroom and outside loo only.....my brother and his family live in that house now (and it's got a bathroom now lol)

Got photos of me bathing callum in a washing up bowl cause a baby bath was too big. But when we used to go to my grandmas it was a chamber pot under the bed for nighttimes as only had an outside loo and the first house i lived in when we where married didnt have an inside loo (they where just being done there)
