Ok so am d*unk but you know what? I am me..you know I want to own my own sexuality, I am a swinger, I love group sex, I REFUSE to conform any more,I am me. The LGBT community started to come out years ago. Why do I still feel I can not be myself with friends, with colleagues, with family? I AM ME! sometimes I want to scream! Anyone else feel this way?

Honestly? No. I'm a very private person and while I would never deny who I am and my friends know I'm very open minded sexually I've never wanted to shout my preferences yo the world. I do wish though that society in general was more accepting

Telling people in real life does one of two things... They get intrigued and ask questions then every conversation after that with said person is about sex ... Boring

They turn their noses up at you for having a different lifestyle

Oooh a third is that they don't care and carry on as they where.

I pretty much lost friends because after the knew that's all they could talk about with me and there is so much more to me than just sex.

So now I don't tell anyone about it. Just easier and no one's business than my own. Those that matter in my life know, anyone else don't need to know that I enjoy going to sex clubs and having sex with random strangers.

Everyone except my new workplace and my daughter know my lifestyle choices. I didn’t shout it from the rooftops but you tell one person and they tell 20 etc. It wasn’t a bad experience. I’m not a different person nor does this scene define me but I can see it isn’t as easy for everyone. There is no need to tell everyone but if it’s a secret that is hard to repress then open up to those you trust the most first.

Yes this

I’ve told friends but only cos it was getting too awkward and convoluted not to tell them!

Have also started putting bisexual on job applications etc where I never used to.

Certainly start to think ‘fuck it’ more as you get older!
