Those who said Banana, make the most of them now. Within the next 2 years, they'll become so rare, prices will rise astronomically.

It's due to an airborne virus which has swept through major plantations and wiped out stocks this year.

Replacement stocks cannot be grown as the virus makes the soil infertile for 10 yrs.

India is the last major grower, but they are seeing signs already of the virus in their country's plantations.

Smaller countries as yet unaffected won't be able to collectively meet global demand.

Scientists haven't worked out a solution either.
