I have to agree with the King of Hell and say Ledger. Nicholson was good, but he was just being his sinister smiley self. Ledger was ultra violent and scary. Which Joker is.. but he's also quite complex. I've heard Joaquin Phoenix is the next in line to the throne? One of my favourite actors, so should be interesting.

Joe Pesci as Nicki from Casino or one of the robbers from Home Alone.

Al Pacino in Scarface.

Thanos was a great shout, looks wise I prefer Clavicus Vile.

Chopper?

Jake the Muss - Once were Warriors (I dont like him, but hes a real life, every day kind of bad guy).

Nearly the entire lovable rogues cast of Lockstock and Snatch.

Venom in the comics is awesome, but it's never come across in a film to me. He thinks he's the good guy.

"Pamela Voorhees, Friday the 13th, immaculately played by the late Betsy Palmer.

The nanny in the Omen, played by Billie Whitelaw

But was the nanny the villain or just a pawn?

Lol, I don’t care, she was an evil bitch she deserved to die. She pushed a pregnant woman out of a high-rise for God’s sake

Point accepted "

You have my respect because your question means you followed the plot closely

Oooh good call on RDN as Capone! That scene with the baseball bat set the marker for cinematic bad guys.

I have to agree with Ledgers Joker though, it was so complex and chaotic.

Notable mention to, as Nell said; The late great Alan Rickman as the delicious Sheriff of Nottingham. He didn't just steal the film, he made it.

"The Joker, the most iconic villain yet he's just guy with clown make up on.

Yep I’ll go with this too. Which actor though?

Heath Ledger

He was awesome as the joker. One of the few roles that I didn’t have a man-crush on him, but he was brilliant

Yep but Jared Leto in Suicide Squad? Mental.

Suicide squad was one of the worst directed movies I've ever seen. So I have to disagree there with you

You sir, are wrong "

I still think Jack Nicholson was the best Joker.

The joker, Heath Ledger's portrayal was immense but I'm extremely excited to see Joaquin Phoenix take on the role.
