Tanqueray 10 with fever tree tonic.

Had elderflower gin on holiday, but think I prefer a pink gin with elderflower tonic.

Just about has the edge over Hendricks for me.

I tried some homemade stuff in a micro brewery in Daventry last year. Damn stuff knocked me bandy.

Ooh love most gins, but don't like Bulldog - too rough. Before we went on holiday I infused 2 bottles of gin - one with rhubarb and ginger, the other with rhubarb and vanilla. Looking forward to testing them on our return. Hoping to pick some elderflower if it's still in bloom and try that and maybe some gooseberry too.

At the moment? My go to basic is The Botanist. I also currently have Foxhole, Bathtub, Ramsbury, Gunpowder Irish, Ginkie, Rock Rose and Empress 1908

Anyone like to reduce their tonic? Boil 150ml to about half, mix with 70mls gin, put in freezer, pour in to a frozen Martini glass and...

"A very talented relative makes sloe gin very tasty very sweet mind "

Why do you need to be talented to make sloe gin ? You just add sloe berries to gin and leave it for a while.
