...and were pleasantly surprised?

I was dragged to Shawn Mendes in April. He was actually decent...and fuckable!

Aylesbury

Cradle of filth. My partner dragged me there not so willingly, but I can honestly say it's the best gig I've been to. He really knows how to work a crowd.

There and to the left a bit

Dizzee Rascal was support to Muse a few years back and went thinking I wouldn't enjoy but actually thought he was really good

We managed to get vip tickets to Hyde park to see Michael bublé last summer. Mrs is a huge fan, me not so, but thought I’d go down just for the free bar and what not.

It was genuinely the best gig I’ve ever been to, he was superb, the day itself was class from start to finish

Leeds

Bought tickets online on a d*unken whim to see The Prodigy shortly before the lead singer's death.

Prior to the gig I was questioning my sanity & vowing to stay away from my laptop when d*unk!

Took my teenage son & his friend (yes, I bought 3....not 2...THREE tickets!)

One of the BEST gigs ever & extremely sad that Keith Flint took his life soon after.

Maybe alcohol & my laptop aren't such a bad combination after all!

Went to see The Shires last year...was better than I, Bubbles, thought, especially as I got chatting to one of the support acts, Sinead Burgess, Australian singer, for ten mins before The Shires started. Sinead was pretty hot, too....

Biffy Clyro.

Saw them in support of Guns and Roses in Prague.

From the second they came on, they were so full of energy and the songs were class live.

Loved them since. Especially live.

Artic Monkeys. My daughter’s best friend cancelled at the last minute so had to step in. They were really good

Not yet but I’m off to see James Arthur in September with female friend and he’s not really my thing.

Billy Idol was an extra I wasn't that interested in seeing. (supporting Guns n Roses and The Cult) and he was brilliant. A real pleasant surprise.

Mel C about 20 years ago (where has the time gone). A mate split up with his girlfriend and didn't want to waste the tickets so said I would go along for laughs.
