"Swimming great for weight loss & overall toning. But it depends what you do... slow & steady breaststroke won’t help to lose weight" I have to disagree, any activity versus no activity will help combined with eating less. I think what puts many people off exercise is the idea that you need to go hell for leather. It's better to exercise gently than not at all | |||

It can be a brilliant exercise if done correctly because it's a complete body workout. However, weight loss is really about 80% diet and 20% exercise. Rather than trying to follow some fad diet, the only proven method for losing weight is simply to consume less calories than you use so that you're at a deficit | |||
