It was - it was just called capers and Delia Smith imported them all.

9/11 hadn't happened yet and there was a happy positive vibe which disappeared after 2001.

Music was a lot better too!

Couldn't agree more.

Don't forget what the PNAC documents said a year earlier.

Because I was a child with very little responsibilities and great parents. Such a care free time.

On the down side I remember the fall out of the recession (and how it affected my family), the high amount of crime (especially car theft) and the volumes of homeless people out on the streets.

In some respects the 90s seem to be coming back. Just look at the current fashions that are sort fetishsing the 90s look and volumes of homeless back on the streets.

All over the place! Northwesr, , Southwest

Great music. Brilliant cinema. There was still a lot of creativity in the entertainment industry and people willing to take risks.

No social media! People actually had to interact in person, making for better overall social skills.

Simpler, happier times. No crazed SJW's taking the fun out of everything because someone took offence.

Money was worth more back then and people had more disposable income.

I could go on and on. I miss the 90's
