but sod it, I feel the need to vent

Virgin Media

10.5 % increase in my bundle charge

that's circa 3 x current inflation

I think not

Check your post for innocuous letters from Virgin folks

Oh and customer services have a 'like it or lump it' attitude

Anyone know of any current good deals out there for TV/Broadband packages ?

As much as I loathe and despise Sky, I still think their overall Phone/BB and TV packages take some beating

Tell virgin media you are leaving and they will soon do a deduction , they did with me so now I pay less before ,

i had 3 phone calls before someone actually told me there was a disconnections department who could maybe offer me a special deal

they did - reduce both tv and bband and save a whole 55p / month !

after another 20 minutes 'discussion' i was offered a month free to look into alternatives

so if i took that, it would leave them £9 up on where they would have been had they not raised the charges in the first place

bad, bad, bad customer service on this occasion i'm afraid

it should not have to take 3 phone calls and knocking an hour of my time for them to make a few quid

what they depend on of course is people sitting back and thinking 'ah well its only a few quid'

times that by how ever many customers they have and they are £££'s in !

We played sky off against virgin and vice versa and got a brill deal from sky.
