Effectively saying he should stop being such a woman and come clean about his alleged bullying of a woman.

You're right. When we look at current holders of the world's most powerful positions hope fades fast though.

I’m sure you didn’t mean it this way, but the whole narrative of the Trump/Johnson sex joke thing feels kind of homophobic. We wouldn’t make these jokes about a male and female politician, so why make them about two men? The only reason I can find is that people think men having sex with other men is somehow humiliating or weird.

It's a repulsive phrase that helps no one. It reinforce gender stereotypes and highlights potentially why male suicide rates are so high. Everyone is unique and has their own emotional burdens and coping mechanisms

If anything it should have been focused upon responsibilities of public service and duty, especially where all citizens are to have a Prime Minister imposed upon them, by a tiny, non-representative group of people and it being a fit and.proper right for everyone to understand the fuller details of who is being imposed upon them.

Maturity, sense of duty, respectful - potentially all of them relevant. But masculinity or gender, not at all
