I was recently catfished and I met the guy he was nothing like his photo at all

But I was too nice and slept with him either way I didnt want to but I also didn't want to hurt his feelings.

What do you do if you are in a similar situation?

I'd like to think a hot person wouldn't be sad enough to need to catfish. I also think he didn't think twice about your feelings so why you should think about his is beyond me. Justified reason to walk away from the situation.

I also view them getting the payoff that they wanted - ie sex after deceit - as reinforcing their awful behaviour. How badly catfished... I mean, if they were literally using someone else's photos then I would 100% walk and be rude with it too!

But I also know that a bit of good lighting and my makeup makes me look like an entirely different person so if it was just a case of the photos looked better but were infact him then I would have either politely declined or gone ahead with it (depending on how attractive he still was)

I have noticed that most coffee social verifs are not followed up with a play verif later on , I wonder if catfishing is more prevalent than one thinks ?
