....giving someone an apple a sign of commitment? Asking for a friend who takes fruit giving quite seriously.

I would say the apple is far to frivolous to just be giving away to anyone.

First dates get a tangerine, or a plum.

It’s only commitment when they give you an apple and their eye.

A banana is better, at least if the recipient doesn't want to eat it they can put it to good use x

So we are agreed that the giving of an apple constitutes some kind of desire above the normal? In that the giving of said fruit has meaning, yes?

Only pomegranates are a sign of commitment. Apples are given when the giver is angling for an 'A' for their next history assignment.

The aforemention "friend" is in this thread and are now deigning to deny their commitment via fruit based bribery by suggesting that the fruit carries little to no worth.

Quite frankly I am disgusted at the duplicity.

Class (once again) DISMISSED!

I'd prefer bacon than an apple as a token of their everlasting love
