A little twist on the "going to a club or seeing someone you know on Fab" threads. Have you ever been out to a normal everyday event and bumped in to someone you've met in a club or from here?

Two guys the other week in the local pub, not together I might add lol.

Quite funny as we had chatted a while but never met.

Oh so he was with his wife/girlfriend?

Yes an old meet. Stood outside the pub with my mates and saw him walking down the street.

That moment of “please don’t stop”. He didn’t thankfully but did text a couple of minutes later “just seen you, should I come back”

He got a polite no

I imagine it can happen all the time.

I was in a Costa a while ago and noticed a couple kept looking at me. I swear I'd seen them before in Chams on one of the rare occasions I've been able to attend. I wonder if it was the couple I'd seen. She was sexy lol

No but when we chatted because he lived in the next street he told us he was married

Luckily I’m in London so easy to get lost in the crowd... did not expect to see someone from Scotland walking past my local

In the past I've seen quite a few folks from fab out and about. More often than not, it's single guys out and about with their wife and kids.

The other day infact, I saw a guy who'd messaged us having dinner with his family.

Tea

I can imagine his horror, especially if that was his secret life.

This, and other posts seem to hold a similar key, guys who say they're single on Fab yet are attached or married. For fear of highjacking my own thread, could this one reason the majority find it hard to trust or tolerate single guys?

I've never been to a club, but I have had someone come up to me when I was out with my sons for a meal, and say to me, your on fab arent you? I wasnt embarrassed, but more annoyed that they asked me while I was dealing with my youngest son.

That is simply ignorant and imo bang out of order. If you're on your own maybe, a slim maybe but not whilst with your kids or anyone else for that matter.

Some people have no shame, I wasnt impressed and bluntly told him so. Another who was fab single was out with his wife, and kept looking over, when I went to the toilet he swiftly followed and asked. Again i put him back in his box. I think when it comes down to people thinking they will get what they want, they become narrow minded and dont think rationally.

I'm becoming more convinced that it's guys like that spoiling it for the genuine ones. Sometimes people just don't think.

I don’t think that’s an example of someone not being genuine. It’s another example of someone not really understanding what discretion is actually about.

I’ve seen a few people I’ve had fab meets out and about , local shopping centre and supermarket usually. Occasionally with their family’s.

I have bumped into people I have worked with in he past at clubs too. Was embarrassing at first, but then figure they are into the lifestyle too. I have nothing to be embarrassed about

Yes!

A couple I know from the club scene regularly come into the place I work! We chat and say hi but don’t go into how we know each other etc. It’s only awkward if you make it awkward!

Also bumped into a ‘single’ guy I’d met a couple of times when flying home from Gran Canaria about 3 years ago - with 2 people who were clearly his wife/girlfriend and daughter!

My friend (who’d chatted to him when he’d been in the club with me!) and I were stood behind them in the cue to have passports checked. We said absolutely nothing but you could see he was totally shitting himself!

Hours later his profile was deleted and he’d blocked me on WhatsApp! Hopefully he learned a lesson!

Yep.. very awkwardly my daughter bought home a guy she had met in town. I had been chatting to this guy on here and had been looking forward to a meet.

One of the downsides to having a kink for younger guys I guess. But didn't expect to bump into him in my own house... And with my 20 year old daughter

There and to the left a bit

Yep local shop owner walked into VA one time I was there and have also seen the female half of a couple met at VA in Tesco.

In the case of the shop owner we got over any initial awkwardness and laugh about it now - in the other case I didn't let on I'd noticed, and nor did she, which is as it should be.

Thing is, that guy should of had more discretion than most! Realistically he doesn't really know me as a character, I could of gone and said something to his wife/girlfriend, or made a big deal out of him coming up to me. Thankfully I'm not like that, but some people really dont think that far ahead. We are all likely to bump into someone on this site, as it is such a small community, but it's how we respond to it that is what matters.

Wow. That is way out of order.

The rules I follow if I see a meet out anywhere are

If they genuinely have not seen you, ignore you, pretend not to have seen you , etc then do the same.

If they smile and carry on walking do the same.

Only stop for a chat if they initiate it.
