Been to a car boot fair earlier on and bought a massive box of Stickle Bricks for £3, grand kids are loving them. I had totally forgot how fun these were back in my youth , can anyone else remember them ?

Loved them.

Bung them in the dishwasher first though.

Not as uncomfortable as Le-go to stand on either

I remember as a child, there always being a box of stickle bricks to play with at the doctor's surgery.

I also remember 'growing out' of stickle bricks, when I discovered Lego, for being too babyish.

Brilliant stuff, used to be a childminder and a tablet outside in the water play tray worked wonders.

I love stickle bricks, much nicer than duplo for dexterity and motor control for little hands.

I work in early years, and currently phasing out plastic for heuristic items so no stickle bricks, the duplo went first though

Fuzzy felt! Yes!

And I think it's still law for all doctor's surgeries to have that Fisher Price car park/garage.

My partner is a huge fan of these, but persoanlly I was much more of a Lego kid. Just as creative and technical but with far more imaginative play value.
