I will be staying up to watch as i always do...love the build up to it all, the glamour and the false smiles, when they lose and the camera shows a close up shot of them being gracious lol...anyone else enjoy them?

I love the OscarsN the outward glamour barely hiding the inner insecurities.

Tinker Tailor is up for an award I think, so I'm hoping for a glimpse of the gorgeous Mr Oldman at least

Watched the Oscars every year for yonks. Looking forward to watching this year's ceremony but I don't think the Brits are in for a good showing this year. Looks like The Artist is going to sweep the board, just a shame it's a french film lol

That's going to create a problem for people who recognise her performance for the excellence it is but who have a problem with the person she was portraying.

The link programme on sky for all us Brits who watch the Oscars is pretty shit really as it usually features aforementioned twatface and a few wannabe/has been z-listers offering banal comments on people far more successful than them.
