It's not just on fab, infact it's remarkably less prevalent on here than it is in real life or on social media.

Many people are governed by their past and find it hard to move on, being preoccupied with ex partners is symptomatic of that.

I didn't think I was one of them then saw my ex had gotten married and couldn't think of anything else for a good week I guess unresolved shit is one reason.

I wouldn't call it obsessed.

I would say many carry scars and memories, that they're trying to prevent happening again.

A lot of threads call for pur own experiences to be able to answer the questions, many times they will involve an ex, as that's the lived we have lived up until now and the experiences we've had.
