Thunderstorms, there is absolutely no need to be afraid of the thunders. If the lightning does hit you, you won't even hear it coming

I believe that people of a certain much older generation associate thunder with falling bombs.

Is that the case where both died (declared dead) and then one came back to life few hours later?

I have no idea, I just heard briefly on the news.

Hours tho, that's mind blowing if that's the case.

Spiders... there's no earthly reason to be frightened of them in the UK but that doesn't stop me sometimes dreaming I've woken up and spotted one on the wall - then actually waking up for real yelling the house down.

Tip - don't risk staying over if you come for a meet at mine

It's when they perv on you in the shower that I don't like. They wait til you're all naked and vulnerable before they wave. Sneaky sneaks

So you should be, they are stealth deadly. People DIE from getting on the wrong side of a cow (namely the underside, being trampled)!

I was in Florida about 20 years ago sat by the pool which had warning notices surrounding pool if it rains do not use the pool and I witnessed the rather awesome but scary sight of 100s of lightening strikes all at the same time

I'm sure the fear of the dark can be sort of irrational as the dark itself is harmless but it's what we can't see in the dark that makes it scary.

Chippenham Malmesbury area

I have a rational fear of mice ; rational because those buggers have teeth and will eat flesh .

There's an island in The Atlantic where the sea gulls are being decimated by mice (original brought to shore on-board whaling boats. These mice bite into the veins of the young chicks causing them to slowly bleed to death, then when, though a lack of blood, the birds can't escape, they eat them.

So, if you're ever in bed and feel a nibbling around your ankles...
