This is happening a fair bit to where the message gets read then afterwards gets unread.

Just looking for a bit of a steer as to generally what this means? Any couples and fems able to help me out?

They’ve read your message intentionally or accidentally but don’t want to answer or deal with it right now, nor deal with follow up messages about the fact it’s been read.

I do it all the time and honest? I just delete them straight after. Dunno why. I always read every message then if I don’t want to reply I’ll usually mark as unread then delete. Dunno why. It’s extra finger tapping work for me.

Some people do it so they can come back to the message later on.

Couples may do it so their other half can read the message.

I’d suggest you delete your sent box so you aren’t checking it and wondering ‘why’.

All that matters is if you get a reply

Just delete your sent mail as soon as it's sent them no stressing about what the recipient has done with it. You'll either get a reply or you won't.

Same

I also agree about deleting the sent box, don’t check to see who’s read what, what does it matter?

Hillside desolate

I mark them unread occasionally if I want to reply later, mostly because I read it, didn't like it, and can't be arsed with the "how dare you delete my message" type responses.

It means they don't want you to message them a second time.

I do it often after accidentally clicking on it or I don’t have time to answer or need time to think about it.

I sometimes do this if I haven’t got time to reply just now or I want to look at the profile etc in more detail and I can’t at that moment. Women get a lot of messages and to me this is a positive sign - it’s not a no or delete. With couples it might be that one one half had read it, leaving it for the the to see.

We do this, usually so we can look through the messages together as it helps to stop repeat messaging.

As QL said; delete your outbox, that way you're not fretting about the whys and wherefores of other people's message management.

I actually do it to annoy people now. If they have no ability to read my profile. I open all messages then mark them all unread the next day and mass delete the day after... Yeah Im a knob.

Smh, if only ppl concentrated so much on the positive areas that could actually make a difference to their fab results.....

.....stop stressing and overthinking, especially when you already know the answers....

I do it myself. It's where I want to know what the message says but don't want to reply yet.

For me, if I message a woman and she reads and doesn't reply, I block her. Maybe some other guys do it too, and unreading is a counter measure? Who knows?

That’s one of my reasonings behind me doing it

I think its a bit cruel and annoying for the sender....

I like people to know where they stand with me so i read it then delete it

I do it all the time. If I'm curious to read but do not want

the sender to know that i've read it, but don't to reply.
