The Lie

even if it's the smallest we all do.

I cant think of anything I could say i never lied about, if its for personal gain or to help another.

Is lying a purely capitalist thinking?

is it empathy?

If we all had thoughts connected(this is our future btw), will any lie be beneficial?

I did mistype..we all need to lie at a point, but why do we. regardless of the context.

I know is silly, but santa is a lie..I know its a lie..but I still love kids thinking of the magic etc, I'd say it should stop before 7 though

Sometimes we lie about ourselves though ? I’m sure we’ve all done that.

You’re asked if you are ok. You automatically say yes, in your mind you’re thinking, actually I feel crap.

And I’ve lied out of compassion, when someone I loved had dementia, I would agree with all sorts. They were less distressed by that.

Sometimes for safety. To protect ourselves or our friends.
