Does alcohol make you tell the truth?

Does alcohol make you tell the truth? You can't stop yourself from being honest?

What have you told someone when you're tipsy, that you perhaps shouldn't have revealed? Or what have you been told by someone else that surprised you?

Not more honest necessarily but it does affect my brain to mouth filter, so I say things I might normally have left unsaid.

In my early 20's, I told my Mum about having a threesome with my then girlfriend and my cousin

Alcohol was a major contributor to both situations

I rarely drink now, nor do I have threesomes with my cousins

I think alcohol gives you the courage to do what you want to do be it something brave, something stupid, tell the truth or tell lies but it’s just something that you already want to do.

If you are in a good state of mind to begin with, you'll be the life and soul of the party. You'll be yourself. Everything you say is true.

You do not have to remember the truth, because it comes naturally.

Get me d*unk a see.

Probably no different. I can be a bit up front and pragmatic with people. Occationally I strugle with some of the social rules about calling things as I see them. Dont mean to be rude (very much the opposite), just the way I'm wired.

I guess that was my, somewhat unfortunate, introduction to swinging

It was actually my gf who broached the subject. She fancied my cousin, her friend fancied me, so 'do you fancy swapping?'

In the end, her friend was way to pissed for any sex to be consentual and even though I'd had more than enough, I knew that doing anything sexual with her was wrong, so I just got involved with the others instead

your imagination

Not really. The stuff I need to keep secret stays secret, even with alcohol. I don't drink often... Usually just special occasions or holidays, purely because even just 1 or 2 drinks renders me useless next day and then it's a wasted day, but when I do, I'm generally a happy d*unk... Teetering around hugging everybody, telling them I love them before burping and falling asleep on someone's shoulder
