FabSwingers.com forum: Puffin browser closing

I use Puffin browser mainly because you can use flash with it for iPad, so very useful in chat rooms. However Puffin is closing down on 1st July, does anyone know of a free reliable alternative for iPad users. Ty

Any website that uses Flash to display content is a security risk. Flash, is well known for it's vulnerabilities. Adobe, cannot keep on top of the necessary updates. I would be cautious of using any website that relies upon Flash to enable chat.

I agree but Puffin was secure, the big players did not like that.And have made it too difficult for them to keep it updated.

Looks like there maybe hope for puffin on iOS yet. Judge has allowed an antitrust case against apple about restricting products on their store. Could be big trouble for apple if it loses.
