.

Sometimes you want to check how stable things are so you push a bit too hard to check they are. It's bloody daft but sometimes you don't realise until after.

The right place

Probably because you have deep seated belief that you don’t deserve good things or maybe some trust issues so you sabotage it before they can reject you.

Have a good think about what it might be and maybe get help to do so.

It's easier to destroy than to build

It has taken nearly 50 years for me to see the positives in my life

You've got nearly two decades on me

From one self-destructer to another, make them count

I’ve a massive fear of ‘settling’ and waking up one day and thinking fuck I’ve just wasted my life

"I’ve a massive fear of ‘settling’ and waking up one day and thinking fuck I’ve just wasted my life"

That's not uncommon.

But you never know until you try.

"I’ve a massive fear of ‘settling’ and waking up one day and thinking fuck I’ve just wasted my life"

So what you are saying is you don't want to settle.

What does "settling" actually mean to you?

Putting up with something/someone you're not 100 per cent about , for an easy life?

If that's the case then yes, move on.

Or does "not wanting to settle" actually mean can't be arsed putting the effort in to make something work?

If that's what you mean then you'll be very very lucky if something fully formed and perfect falls into your lap with zero effort...
