Continue here. I am, but I am having a rest day today, what about you? I am doing a full body workout and I do that 3 times a week and I follow a summer shredding diet like a mini cut. I eat 300kcal below maintenance, how do you motivate yourself to go? I watch motivational videos and one of my favourites are 3d abs with the great dane https://youtu.be/OmGfHk46OSU

I'm going this afternoon and will probably go Monday night, after that resting as I'm away on exercise late next week and it's no place for DOMS.

I need to go several times - every week!

Lost some weight before my hols but I’ve put most of it back on again!

Posted a pre-holiday pic today (taken less than 3weeks ago) to remind myself what I can do if I make the effort!

Need to get back in the diet and exercise habit!

That would be 90% diet, 10% exercise.

90% diet 10% workout lol

Its 100% diet and 100% workout if you don't give 100% on it all your cutting corner."

Yes, usually the saying is 80% is the diet and 20% is the training, my tip is to select one exersice per body part witch will be 7 exersices and each workout focus on the big 3, deadlift, squats and bench press and have a high protein and medium high carb diet."

Was at the gym today-leg day...squats, leg press, lunges and quads & hamstrings too.

Chest tomorrow...

My motivation-I just look in the mirror every damn morning and hate the spare tyre around my midriff. That and a cup of coffee helps my motivation to push hard and lift more weight.

Never been in a gym in my life.

However, today I had a session on the turbo bike in the shed.

It's one of those Smart versions that links to a computer program that plays various videos of routes to cycle.

Today I rode up the infamous Sa Calobra climb, my avatars from the previous ride was on my tail all the way, drafting me for 5.5miles then dropped me on the sprint for the line.

The bar-steward!

Well tomorrow, but I am be somewhat limited as I've seem to have busted my foot and it kills. I was thinking of upper body work that doesn't involve putting weight on my foot, but that may still involve walking around the gym on it. So I'll probably hit the pool instead.

Thinking of joining the local gym? Why? I have too much energy when I’ve finished work and perhaps it’s a good way to work it off? Would also like to tone everything up. Good idea or can some of you fitness experts suggest something else?

Do you do any sporting activity or exercise?

Any particular hobbies?

It's not all about sweating it off in a gym, though that is a good way to go about things

The gym can be a great way to focus yourself in your fitness goals but doesn't work for everyone.

If you do, don't be afraid of hitting the weights.

I like running and I'm outdoors

But I mostly trail run nowadays, and with a social group.

Some parks have fitness points too, not those silly pseudo gym things, but bars and benches, deadlifts etc. which I use to break up and add variety to a run

The "Dreadmill" is a good alternative when the weather is not as nice as today is

My gym also had swimming pools as wel as all of the usual kit if I want to do something different

Not sure , I was aiming for 7 percent , was measured at 6.5 a month ago so am around that area ,

My plan , deplete glycogen totally on thurs , refeed with 600 g carb over 2 days , then maintainace cals for a while around 175 g carb 170 g protein about 90 fat

"I am having a rest day today, what about you?

Me too , 5 days left of cut , how about you ?

Do you know your stats ?

It seems in the last 5 months iv lost 3kg of bodyweight and almost certainly over 5kg fat mass , That is good. I have just done 8 weeks and yes I know some but not all the stats. I have lost 2kgs which is a good result and I am now down to 13% body fat, this week I will start to increase the calories abit, What will you be doing?

Not sure , I was aiming for 7 percent , was measured at 6.5 a month ago so am around that area ,

My plan , deplete glycogen totally on thurs , refeed with 600 g carb over 2 days , then maintainace cals for a while around 175 g carb 170 g protein about 90 fat"

That is good. I also like to do carb cycling, my macros now are 2900kcal 180g protein and 100g fat. I also like to snack on almonds, it have lots of calories

Back in the gym after 11 days 9f illness.

Took it easy to start just to see how i faired.

Not too bad, tired very quickly but ok.

2 x 3 @ 215kg deadlift

3 x 5 @ 170kg speed deadlift

That was it.

This 10 week cycle is now about ensuring I don't lose strength rather than gaining any, momentum has been lost after being ill.

Running 8 miles per day

With thai boxing and gym.

That was for the last 2 years but 6 weeks ago I got a groin infection (not sti)

I was in 10/10 medical pain for 1 week...took me 1 month to go back to work...can only walk now I can't run or do a high kick.

It's still not ok but should slowly recover.

No workout gets you ripped that comes from diet , sorry , and you will need a 500 cal a day deficit for a week to.lose half kg of fat

"I'm just aiming for happy, healthy and strong."

A very commendable ambition

Many people are unable to focus their minds to achieve adifficult goal , they take the easy options of crisp eating and wall touching , both of which are obviously hilarious

I’m pleased with the way things are going over the last couple of weeks, started shedding the weight I put on during my intense working away period and holidays. Another 10 days before I’m away again so seeing what I can accomplish during that time.
