As we're nearly half way through the year, I've been taking stock somewhat in terms of what this year has brought me so far and what I hope for the rest of the year.

In the usual spirit of forming and mild nosiness, I thought I'd ask the forums what 2019 has brought so far; good, bad, indifferent or spectacular, let's hear it! How has it shaped up against your hopes?

Over to you folks...

It's only cliché because it's used a lot in truth. If that's all that this year has brought you, than that's still good.

from the womb and tryout to get back

Well so far this year has brought me to realise I need to concentrate on one business as I need more me time so one being sold another to be run as a limited company the loss of my mam has also made me realise I need more family time as you never know what's round the corner

The start of the year was a bit rubbish. But, things are looking up.

This year has been a disaster.

I've gone from hopeful of improvement to just trying to survive.

This is very true, as the old saying goes; no one lies on their death bed and says "I wish I'd spent more time at the office".

Smelling roses is important too.

I'm sorry to hear that, what can you do to improve things?

It started off with my whole life being turned upside down but now things are settling down I'm looking forward to the future.

The last few months of 2018 were pretty grim following the breakdown I had in September last year.

I'm not sure when I turned the corner but I feel a lot more like me again now. I'm enjoying life again and I've got enthusiasm for living back. Given at the start of the year I'd have settled for still being here I'm quite chuffed with that
