What has surprised you about fab/the fab community the most or is all as you expected it to be?

For me, I guess 3 things... how hard it is for a woman to meet a woman 2 how lovely most people are and 3 how you can "bump into" people you know....

For me it's how shallow and one sided most are.

Forums are full of amazing people.

The amount of hate single males get.

Well I never. If fab was around 30 years ago. I would have been able to tick a lot of boxes. As I would have had a partner back then. You lucky lot in the prime of your life.

When I first joined, I thought that it was going to be like a big Liberal community, where people were open minded about different aspects of sexuality and welcoming of diverse tastes.

Yeah...

I was dissuaded of my preconceptions pretty quickly!

1. How a lot of men think that women have no say in who they have sex with or have no right to say no because "this is a sex site".

2. Different people have very different views on what swinging actually is.

3. People rarely read the profile.

I’m with you on the finding a woman thing

I newbie thought it would be so difficult to find someone to have naughty chats to lol
