To tone up, spend time with mates and most definitely to enjoy the sights, sometimes the running machine situated behind the stair climber can be my favourite place to be!!!

I go daily. I have an excellent PT who keeps me motivated.

It calms my mind, keeps me occupied and I actually love it

Manchester (she/her)

It helps my mental health and concentration, I do it to prevent long term health issues including things I'll be prone to. Confidence boost. Weight loss/ muscle gain has been a nice added bonus.

I've discovered I really enjoy weight lifting, too.

I used to oggle the men and then go on the bikes near the free weight section to listen to the men grunting

Couldn’t afford it no more though.

I stopped going to the gym earlier this year through injury but why I went, depended on the time of year; winter for strength training, summer for toning and cardio to augment distance training.

I'm so all or nothing with the gym I get lazy but I'm on route as we speak.

For me last year when I did well I like the confidence it gives me but also it's great for my mental health!
