25 mile radius of derby lol. Although really good reviews of a place could push me to travel further

Sky by the Water, Resorts World is pretty good. More like 40 miles from Derby but worth it if you can tie it in with something on at the NEC, or the Genting casino/shopping at RW.

There are some great deals to be found for a 1 night stay at the Genting.

The winery in Burton is nice, I've eaten there a few times and the food and service has been excellent. It's also where the England team and FA execs eat at times.

Tea

Ahhh that one hidden behind Burton college. Been a while since I've been there. Amazing charm about the place..

Never heard of sky by water..

Although casinos are off the cards, there doesn't seem to be anything of interest on at the NEC soon to warrant a visit.

Plenty to discover in Birmingham yet
