I've got a hairy chest

I am not particularly bothered about them

If pushed on preference, I'd say if a guy is chunkily built, I prefer body hair, if a guy is slim or athletic, then I prefer smooth

The only thing I don't really like is an otherwise smooth guy with a patch of unkempt hair in the middle of his chest

Conversely, hairy guys who keep their body hair and then completely shave their pubes off

It just looks odd. To me.
