so near and yet so far....

Had a really good social last week and when I looked back on the subjects we chatted about, I don’t think I could remember all the subjects, it made me wonder how open people are when meeting.

So what are you like on socials?

I'm a little slow to start with but once I hit my stride I can talk the hind leg off a donkey..

I had 2 separate socials last week which could not have been more different.. although both had a similar outcome

Iceland, but Aldi is closer..

I tend to let the conversation meander to wherever it wants to go..

The initial conversation will be a top level of fab life followed by maybe some personal stuff..

Sex may not even get mentioned, sometimes it just doesn't feel the right situation..

It is usually just random topics like you would discuss with anyone you meet for the first time as you both try to ascertain some commonality between yourselves.

I'm ok at group socials. It's like speed dating. I manage about 3 minutes then they get bored so I move onto the next victim.

Chatty, I over compensate for nerves by chatting a lot of shit. If I click with them, I'll soon calm down and have a giggle.

I'm a talker so I talk a lot about a lot of things and try ascertain if there's any chemistry or spark. I'm naturally quite an excitable, positive sort and I think on a social I'm much the same. I do enjoy people who you can have a bit of mental masturbation with/be a bit of a sarky bitch to. I like oomph.

I'm quite a chatty person anyway but when I'm nervous I get a bit exciteable and tend to ramble. Most people seem to interpret it as flirting so it's not so bad
