If nobody displays affection in public nobody can use your sexuality as an excuse to attack you. It's completely fucking backwards but in a black and white world it would make sense, we dont live in black and white world though

I once got rice, chips and curry sauce thrown over me at school because I had short hair and that made me a ‘dyke’. I hadn’t came out as bi yet, I wasn’t even aware I was bi. I’ve had abuse hurled at me because my hair is short. I’ve been pinned against a wall and screamed at and punched because I turned down a guy. Automatically a lesbian! And these attacks are so tame!

But yep, keep it in the bedroom folks. Be ashamed of who you are.

This is an interesting debate.

OP says that it's biggoted single guys, but I think we all know that every gender and orientation on here has thier moments of idiocy that leaves you banging your head into a table.

I am fortunate enough that I have this single's profile, and share a couple's one with my FB, so I get sight of it from sides, as the decent single guy trying to engage with other members, to the reciever of some of the foulest writing I've ever read, and in truth, it is both men and women, and coupes that are guilty.

As this site membership is not really moderated, there is literally nothing you can do about this issue. So, what is the solution?

Simple, focus on why you joined and the people you want to speak to, if morons message you, ignore them. Don't let their small minds ruin why you signed up, don't let their agendas deter yours, who are they to you anyway? Are you going to see them somewhere, or be forced into speaking to them again, no, so move on.

I appreciate it is hard when you get a lot of crap messages that are way off the mark of what this site is about, block them, move on, you won't get any more messages from that person again.

I feel for you OP, and I get your frustrations, but this site is what it is, and threads like this, end up getting people time-outs from the Forum and even from messaging others.

I can see where the OP is coming from, feels like there's been an influx of men/couples who are not verified/have no meets and are on the forums spouting bigoted crap, hell we even have a "couple" in the politics section who sympathise with white supremacist and say that slavery was fair game. Like any site of this nature, it will attract a certain element of society who do hold unsavoury and unpleasant views and opinions..

Then of course there are those that have poor social skills, the type that send the messages where your first reaction is "what the fuck"..

Just accept there will be those posting with extreme views that what is generally considered acceptable..

Just ignore them and move on, those types generally feed off the anger they create in others..

Yeah but you can see how that actions of those put a really bad taint on being a single guy on here. We have met some really decent people in swinging. Never once come across anything like this in the real life swing world. Clubs and socials just loads of really nice people. I guess that’s the thing...... no verifications, not getting out and having real human interaction.

I mean I probably wouldn't have worded it quite as provocatively as yourself, but I get it.

I lump him in the "has no idea about the real world" pot, along with the men on the forums who have a huge beef with feminism (which again feels somewhat counter productive to me, as it's my desire for an equal world and my feminist beliefs that mean I have liberation sexually)

There were a couple attacked in the gay village in Manchester this weekend too.

It just makes my little queer heart very sad. I wish I could be angry but I'm sad, with resilience. I will hold my girls hand, if I want to kiss her I will. And god help anyone who tries to do or say anything.

Yes and unfortunately there was another attack on two gay women in Southampton on Saturday. Its awful. Hate breeds hate.

Being against the current feminist movement is not anti equality.. 3rd and 4th wave intersectional feminism is going beyond true equality of opportunity that is fair for all to instead promote equality of outcome.

Equality of outcome is a horrible idea as it reduces individual choice if it's declared that all things must be like "x"
