Can't you just scan stuff these days and send via a fax app on PCs?

I have a fax-capable printer and I just want to see whether there’s a fault in my telephone line or not. None of the people in my contacts seem to have a fax/scan/print machine, hence why i am asking in here

Do you think there is a reason no one has it?

I think I know what you’re trying to imply.....but HP also make them multifunction for a reason, no?

But there’s nothing wrong with doing a fax

I know we’re all using emails etc etc but, I got a multifunctional machine so, I wanna use it...plus, I am stubborn so when something is not working properly it has to be fixed!

Isn't the point of a fax that you can send a document to someone 200 miles away ?

I think you should just sling it in a skip and get another one off e-bay

Unless you’ve already tried this but HP apparently have a fax test service, that will maybe identify if there’s any issues?

It has successfully worked once but it hasn’t worked the following two times I tried it; this means it’s an issue of the phone lines at the other end, and I have absolutely no control over that x
